BUCS 2024 Regatta

BLBC sent two ex-Club Captains, Cian Tan (2022/23) and Anthony Wang (2023/24), to BUCS Regatta in May to compete in the Open Intermediate 2- category. The boys performed well in their time trial and were placed in the final against Swansea and Edinburgh, narrowly missing out on the win but coming home in a strong second place. It was a fantastic experience of multi-lane racing not possible on the Tideway, and an excellent platform to build on towards the start of next the season. Thank you to Quintin Boat Club for providing us with a boat, and Jamie Smith for his coaching expertise!
